Puppies Behind Bars

Puppies Behind Bars trains inmates to raise puppies to become service dogs for the disabled and explosive detection canines for law enforcement. 

Their two-year-old Dog Tags program provides psychiatric service dogs to help war veterans who are battling post-traumatic stress disorder.  The dogs obey 87 different commands, and can rouse a soldier from a flashback, dial 911 on a phone, and sense an impending panic attack.  By next month they will have paired 34 dogs with Iraq and Afghanistan veterans.  

They offer 13 card designs; it's a great cause.
